Sweetes Days in SURGERY Department (^_^)

Hee..di tgh malam yg sunyi ni..tetiba kmi rse nk share smthg psl department posting kmi la ni..wlpun kmi xdak interest nk jd specialist kat department ni..tp kmi rse posting kat department ni best sgt klu nk di bandingkan ngn department len..wlpun time posting ni..'feel like there r person who want put u down'..tp x serik la nk pi..nk ponteng pun x smp ati sbb doc dier sgt bek..hee..degaq lah cite kmi naa..

Last 2 week we've started our surgery postings. In a way, I really like it. Its a total different approach to diagnosis and treatment. Bak kata Dr Ashok Nayak; "Welcome to the department of lumps and bumps." Hehe kiutt..wink~~(Doc ni pun sgtlah bek n cute..always give d best for us)

But to an extent, I'm dreading it. Anatomy kmi hancus wehh!! 3 thn lepas kot..mn nk ingt..lgpun kita blajaq anatomy dlu xdak lah as detail as bdk medic kan..hmm..Berangan je la nk jadi surgeon huhu..(tp kmi xdak ati pun nk jd surgeon..hehe) Duk dlm OT ari2, terpaksa berdiri berjam2, kmi yang berdiri tengok je ni pun dah start restless after barely an hour..ngeh ngeh..klu kmi kne wat surgery xtaw la..ley mintak nurse bawakan kerusi kot..heee

Another plus point being in surgery department: Unlike in medicine department, tak yah bawak "knee hammer" segala "tuning fork", pen torch, measuring tape, stetescope semua ohh yeahhh! Sangat lah berat ok! poket lab coat tu smp gelebeh2 penuh ngn brg2 tu sume..lom lg dicampur ngn adegan2 tunning fork tu jatuh..stetescope tersangkut kat bju org len..mcm2 lah..kdg2 kmi rasa nk pegi bertukang je kot ngangkut segala tukul and besi2 tu huhuh..tp skg xyah lagi..hee..stetescope pun kmi x bwk..haha..coz doc in this department not mention what u should always bring..klu terdesak kne pkai tu..pinjam kwn lerr..pe lg..hii..


Cuba teka mn satu kmi??? hee..mestilah xdak..sbb kmi yg snap pic ni..hmm..lgpun tgklah pkaian kmi..'seksa'kan..huu..x lulus untuk tontonan umum..kmi dlm process application untuk mendapatkan bju OT muslimah..ade yg posting kat Baptis's hospital..bju OT diorg siap ade tudung n lengan pjg lg..x aci2..huu (shasha..berkawad ker tu? hehe)

(In this case, laparoscopy) Diagnosis: Congenital Diaphragmatic hernia

Betul2..Its less invasive, shorter recovery, less complications and better compliance.. tak perlu nak wat incision bukak sana sini, tenggok je monitor kat situ, siap 20x magnification lg~

Now where is the fun in that?? LOL..heee..kejinya kmi..Zzzzzzzz
